I start with this title to state, from the beginning, that I am not a documentary expert, and this is not a how-to website. I am in the middle of making my first film, which became, overnight (one of the beautiful nights in Lisbon, last autumn) an international co-production with interest from major players in the documentary world.

In other words, I suddenly started to exist in a world that I wasn’t quite prepared for. An overwhelming experience, from which I have learned a lot.

This website is about what I’m going through making my film, from idea to financing, shooting, editing and up to the… premiere of the film. I will share with you what I have learned in workshops, from the great people that support me, or… from my own mistakes. I will describe all the choices, the techniques and the equipment that I’m using.

It will be a video-photo-text blog dealing with all the issues that I encounter. With ups and downs, just like it is.

Because I’m starting this “journal” in the middle of making the film, it will not be chronological, but you can ask questions at any time by writing comments or e-mailing me.
